The City of Anaheim and iCeL Systems have partnered in a community-centric demonstration of "grid-interactive energy storage." An iCeL System has been installed in the ultra modern Anaheim Energy Field, where an unsightly 3-acre tract of land has been transformed into a much-needed urban play area. Solar panels create shade over the colorful playground and soak up renewable energy from the sun, while the iCeL System provides an impressive 50 kWh of energy storage for on-demand distribution when the sun doesn't shine.
